Catnip pulled into Pier 66 on Boxing Day, after 6 days from Annapolis Maryland. Here the plan was to do some upgrades and start cruising.

Well, the upgrades took longer than expected but we did learn our boat and our way around Florida. We found restaurants we could go to with little Nipper (our dinghy) beaches we could walk Sequoia, Veterinarian for Sequoia, various boat equipment supply places. The only thing we did not find was someone to do the work. But no worries as I was able to do it myself, it just took a little longer. But with this time we did learn how to operate the boat, docking, anchoring and sailing.

We made a trip down to Miami, where we anchored at No Name harbor. Yes that’s the name. It’s a beautiful spot, a few restaurants, great walking trails for Sequoia and good swimming.
