Fresh water electric toilets, One might wonder what is wrong with salt water for flushing a toilet, I did. I found the answer, salt water goes bad and smells horrible if left enclosed in pipes for any length of time, it would smell as bad as what was being flushed, so fresh water was the way to go. As far as electric goes, it was either push button or manual pump, yup, hands down push button won out.
Washing Machine, This was a must, Cathie let me know that, and she sure was right. It is a must, we use it often, and it sure beats hauling laundry to the Laundromat.
Radar This is great, both for seeing weather at night, and seeing boats without AIS.
Water maker This was a no brainer, we went with the Seawater Pro, 970 watts making 40 gallons per hour. It makes great tasting water, and lots of it.
Electrical system Our original system was 840 amp hr. capacity, consisting of 6 each, 140 Amp AGM batteries. We had to run the generator 7 hours a day to keep these charged, Not good.
We replaced the AGMs with 4 each 460 amp hr.LiPhos. batteries, totaling 1840 amp hrs, 2100 watts of solar, Three charge controllers for the solar cells, DC/DC chargers for the Alternators, a Quatro 5000 watt inverter charger, fuses, cct. breakers, fat wire and some fittings.

sorry I haven’t added photos of toilets yet. 🙂
