26 Leaving Grenada

Well.., our time is almost up in Grenada. We have enjoyed our six months here, but also looking forward to sailing again.

The weather has improved, not as hot and muggy and no more hurricanes in sight.

After a month or so in one location you get to know your way around and get to feel quite comfortable. We have our favorite stalls at the markets, restaurants, beaches for Sequoia, know where to get propane and other supplies, have the buses figured out, and have met some very nice cruisers. We will have fond memories of our time here.

Cathie’s making arrangements for Sequoia to get her paperwork and medication ready for entering our next country. It’s looking like it will all come together nicely on Friday. Sequoia was happy to hear that.

Catnip is in ship shape, freezers are full, should be good to go on the weekend.

Our next destination is Antigua, where we last were. Been watching the weather and it looks good, winds are perhaps a little light, and little more north than ideal, but we certainly can work with it. Seas look relatively flat, should be a fun 3 day trip.
